One of the famous tourist attractions in Baguio is The Easter Weaving Room where native fabrics and other handicrafts are sold. You can also witness the actual process of cloth weaving as practiced by the natives of the mountain provinces for ages. http://www.easterweaving.com/
While my boss Greg was in town visiting for work, we made a stop to Easter Weaving on Sunday 3/16/08. I had been there several times, but I always missed the time where you can witness the weaving. That day we were lucky, and we able to witness it, and it was amazing. The handcarved wooden weaving machines were so neat, and you can really see what a trade it is. I still wonder how long it took those women doing the weaving to learn how to do it.
